Say hello to the Lovewell Birth Collective!
Lovewell, as it is now know, has beginnings back in 2015, as a hearts dream of three doulas who dared to believe that Sarnia-Lambton would be ready and willing to honour them with their births.
This dream has become a reality, and along with the Sarnia-Lambton community, Lovewell has grown!
Nicole, a dedicated life long learner, passionate reader and birth enthusiast, is a mother, an educator, and a labour and postpartum doula.
Nicole is devoted to supporting folks with knowledge about birth and parenthood. At the centre of Nicole's work is the belief that humans should have access to sound information about pregnancy and postpartum health. She embraces that knowledge is power and she wants every person to be in control of their own wellness through empowerment and information.
When not supporting and educating families, Nicole delights in spending time with her better half and their two adventurous daughters.
Stephany is a mother of two beautiful girls, a nurturer and a lover of all things birth. Throughout her postpartum journey as a young mom, she felt the impact and importance of having a positive support system. From there, Stephany discovered that she wanted nothing more than to be that vessel of support and knowledge for all pregnant and labouring humans. She followed her heart-driven passion to the path of a birth and postpartum Doula so that she could help individuals and their families be aware of their options, feel empowered and confident in their decisions.
Aside from her work as a Doula, Stephany can be found loving up on her supportive husband; Marshal, gently parenting her two little moons; Bella and Penelope, indulging in vegan food, and encapsulating placentas.
Born and raised in Sarnia, ON, Carlie has always had a special interest in pregnancy, birth, and newborns. She graduated from Lambton College's two-year Advanced Massage Therapy Program in class of 2011. Having the opportunity to attend a cousin's birth, her massage skills came in handy. She started putting more effort into promoting prenatal and labour massage, and after a couple birth experiences she quickly realized this was her "sweet spot."
Carlie quickly discovered becoming a Doula was the perfect fit; her doula journey began early 2015. She is a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula through Doula Training Canada.
Aside from her Doula and RMT work, Carlie loves to travel, spend quality time with friends, and enjoys soccer, volleyball, and boardgames. She enjoys the everyday life alongside her husband; Josh, and three daughters.
Amy spent her younger years in the area and has recently moved back to be closer to her family and the place she originally called home. Amy has lived in many different places through out the years and has always found a way to be
of service to others. She has a personality that creates joy and serenity with those she engages with. She is a mother to a wonderfully handsome young man that is her whole world. She gives everything to her family and everyone around her.
She has always had a passion about birth and babies. She had always wanted to become a doula, to be able to support people during this amazing journey of creating a family. It wasn't until recently she finally decided to take the steps to become a Labour and birth doula. To turn one of her dreams and passion into a reality.
Aside from her work as a Doula, Amy also runs a small baking company. She loves to be outside with her son and husband creating memories. She also loves to garden, bike ride, anything to do with animals and of course BAKE!!
